Networking fails for many job seekers because it usually takes so long to work that the person has given up or is homeless before it works.

    Thanks for linking to your article. There are some typos in the last paragraph. I have capitalized what appears to be missing...

    Put yourself in situations where YOU have lots of opportunities to make deep connectionS with people who might help you land a job and you may well land one long before you'd have to eat cat food.

    Thank you, Anonymous. The first correction is right, the 2nd is wrong.

    In any event, unless it's a critical error, most editors consider you high-maintenance if you ask you to make post-publication changes. Especially because I'm new at AOL, I'm going to not ask her to change it. Believe me, if it were just on my blog, it would have been changed already.
