Wow, heard you on your show today and you never cease to amaze me! And I know you're a bigwig and I am just a nobody, but if you could let me know where I might find a better deal than Geico I would sure appreciate it.

I was with AAA for decades and got a rate increase a couple years ago, so I shopped around and the best I could find was Geico. It was about 25% cheaper than AAA before their rate increase! I think over the years I could have save thousands if I'd been half the researcher you are!

Thank you.

Try an independent broker, who represents multiple insurers. Also, sites such as SelectQuote will compare across many insurance companies, including those who don't spend a fortune on advertising.

That's a great idea. I bet you have a many more. Have you ever thought about writing a book on saving money? I think it would be very beneficial especially for people out of work and looking for a job. Heck, in this permanently bad economy it would benefit everyone. I bet you could sell a million copies, maybe more.

Anonymous, my sense is that I don't have a whole book worth. And I have no credibility in that area. Plus, there are a lot of books on how to get good deals. My book, How to Do Life does contain a good section on money.
