The "Change You Can Believe In" Has Changed Nothing

I've given up writing about my belief that Obamanomics will, over the long term, hurt America. I wrote and I wrote (Click on "Obama" in this blog's tag cloud) yet ObamaRapture merely accelerates.

Today, I was, however, heartened to find support in, of all places, the New York Times (June 7.) (Thank you, John Willson for pointing me to it.)

Alas, that article is but a hand trying to stop an accelerating tidal wave of amen media, and in turn the public, holy rolling to its deity Obama.

America is in rapture with a communications machine. And until it somehow becomes more interested in facts than in meticulously engineered propaganda, we will get the change we deserve.

Thank you, Marty, for having the courage to speak out against the pervasive divinity worship being offered up to this president. It is both disgusting and disheartening to see. What is happening to the people of this country? Where are the adults?

Thank you for being a voice of stability.

I can't fathom how people get got so caught up with him. It really blew me away when a guy with a doctorate in economics who favors market solutions, recommended voting for him. I guess it's some sort of emotional thing. I only evaluate candidates on the highest probability of winning and resisting government growth that infringes on economic liberty. He failed the latter test.
