Marty,
Thanks for the link. In the late 1990's, I had one-on-one counseling with a Five O’Clock Club counselor. We made little progress as the individual seemed stumped by my situation. Would you advise returning to the Five O’Clock Club? I am in the DC area. By the way, the "counseling" was very costly. I am now with the federal government, but I do not enjoy the work and hate the inefficiency.
Even the best model, if implemented poorly, won't work well.
I'd email Richard Bayer in the New York office of the 5 O Clock Club, say you found your previous coach unhelpful and get a referral to another coach. Then chat a few minutes by phone with that person, and decide.
I suspect, however, that the 5 O Clock GROUPS (especially if run by one of their top people--again ask Richard for a recommendation), which is inexpensive, might be well worth it.
Alternatively or in addition, I urge you to read the free articles on my website: www.martynemko.com.
Having tried or considered all that, if you think you'd like to work with me by phone, email me a brief description of your situation. My email address is mnemko@comcast.net.
Marty,
As always, thanks for follow-up information.
