Most of us would like to prioritize principles over expediency. As
social reformer Henry Ward Beecher wrote, “Expedients are for the hour, principles are for the ages.”
But we’re human. As psychologist Alfred Adler wrote, “It’s easier to
fight for one’s principles than to live up to them.” Perhaps one or more
of the tips I offer in my PsychologyToday.com article today will make it easier for your principles to prevail.
